In the Freiamt region, the unregulated Reuss, Switzerland's fourth-longest river, flows through a wide valley in numerous picturesque meanders. The modern Laubehuus consists of an elongated section running from northeast to southwest and a shorter wing perpendicular to it in the north, which presents its well-proportioned gable end to the village street. The ground floor of the northern wing houses the communal areas: a shared living and event room, a workshop, and car and bicycle parking spaces. In addition, the communal vaulted cellar offers a great space for various events and uses. The northern wing also contains the access core with a lift and staircase.
