By the end of 2023, 26 unique condominiums will be developed in the baroque castle of Zizers and its outbuildings, visible from afar between sunny vineyards, in close consultation with the conservation authorities. You can choose your own personalised residence from this diverse range. Zita, the last Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary, also chose Zizers Castle to spend the last years of her seventy-year exile here from 1962 to 1989.
While the lowlands lie under a grey blanket of high fog, top wines ripen in the sun of the ‘Bündner Herrschaft’. Each flat in the castle has its own compartment in the historic wine cellar. In 1880, Johanna Spyri set the story of Heidi and Peter in the nearby wine-growing village of Maienfeld, thereby creating a Swiss legend.

The tower room on the fourth floor is occupied by a stately living room with a beautiful view. There are three bedrooms, children's rooms or guest rooms in the adjoining converted attic.
