How architecture becomes sales success — insights with Nobilis Estate
With SUN CREST, Nobilis Estate AG supported a demanding residential project from positioning to sale. In close cooperation with architects Romano & Christen, a marketing was created that combines architecture, sales brochure, showroom and personal visits to create a coherent overall appearance.
In an interview, Daniela Doychinova, Partner at Nobilis Estate AG, explains how this collaboration has shaped the sales process and what role Nobilis Estate AG plays in it.
” Our marketing approach has taken sales talks to another level — away from pure facts, towards quality, atmosphere and value. ”
Interview with Daniela Doychinova, partner at Nobilis Estate AG
question: Ms. Doychinova, the SUN CREST project is not only characterized by its location and architecture, but also by an exceptionally coherent marketing concept. How did the collaboration with architects Romano & Christen come about?
Daniela Doychinova: “It was clear to us from the start that SUN CREST was more than just a classic residential construction project. The architects Romano & Christen have developed and consistently implement an architecture that radiates peace, clarity and value — we also wanted to make these qualities tangible in sales and communication. The collaboration was therefore very close, almost dialogical, from the start. Architecture, marketing and marketing strategy design should speak a common language.”
question: What role did the sales brochure play in the overall sales process, for example?
Daniela Doychinova: “A very central one. The brochure is often the first physical point of contact with the project — it must arouse emotions, create trust and provide precise information at the same time. Together with Romano & Christen, we have ensured that materials, imagery, typography and content reflect the architectural stance. The brochure should not only explain, but also convey the way of life at SUN CREST.”
question: How did the collaboration work out in practice?
Daniela Doychinova: “Very cooperative and on equal footing. The architects gave us in-depth insights into their design considerations — from room sequences to lighting and the choice of materials. We were able to translate this content directly into the storyline of the sales brochure. We have argued the other way around from the perspective of the market and buyers. The result is a brochure that is architecturally authentic and at the same time has strong sales.”
question: How has this approach affected sales?
Daniela Doychinova:”Very positive. Interested parties have a clear understanding of what SUN CREST stands for early on. Our marketing approach has taken sales talks to another level — away from pure facts, towards quality, atmosphere and value. Trust in the project was noticeably higher right from the start.”
question: What was the significance of the visits in SUN CREST's sales process?
Daniela Doychinova: “Visits are a decisive factor. Especially with a project like SUN CREST, in which architecture, light and atmosphere play such a central role, it is not enough to show floor plans or visualizations. Interested parties should be able to experience the project spatially, from shell construction to completion. Our task is to make Romano & Christen's architectural idea tangible locally.”
From Nobilis Estate AG's point of view, SUN CREST is a project that impressively shows how crucial a close integration of building owners, including architects and marketers, is for successful sales. We see ourselves not only as an intermediary, but as a strategic partner — both for builders and buyers.
