A special evening for a significant cause: on October 24 in 2026, the traditional Kispiball was held at the Kunsthaus Zürich for the first time. Nobilis Estate AG was once again a partner of the charity gala in aid of the KiSpi, the University Children's Hospital Zurich, continuing its social commitment to the health and future of children.

After two decades at the renowned Hotel Baur au Lac, the Kispiball opened a new chapter this year. The Kunsthaus Zürich provided an impressive backdrop for an evening that brought together people from business, culture, and society – united by the shared goal of providing lasting support for medical care and research for seriously ill children.

Since its inception in 2005, the Kispiball has become one of Switzerland's most significant private charity events. Over the years, nearly ten million francs have been raised to benefit sick children. This year's edition once again combined social networking, cultural performances, and culinary highlights with an important charitable cause.

Focusing on life-saving research for children

The 2026 Kispiball was dedicated to sepsis research at the University Children's Hospital Zurich. Sepsis is a life-threatening overreaction of the immune system to an infection, which can lead to severe organ failure in a very short time. In Switzerland alone, over 500 children are affected by it every year.

The funds raised at this year's ball will support the development of new, personalised treatment options. The goal is to detect sepsis in children earlier and treat it more effectively, thereby saving lives.

A varied programme featuring musical performances, a festive dinner, a raffle, and various auctions made the evening a truly special experience. Throughout the event, the focus remained on the collective support for the young patients and their families.
