If you drive south in the Rhine Valley to the San Bernardino Pass, you will reach the picturesque mountain village of Andeer in Schams, the middle valley chamber of the Hinterrhein, at around 1,000 m above sea level.

The “Hotel Fravi”, which grew out of the spa hotel, is still an important institution in Andeer's social life today. Along the Hinterrhein, there are 40 kilometers of varied cross-country skiing trails and a family-friendly ski area with five lifts. If you are looking for more variety, you can reach two large ski arenas, each with around 225 kilometers of slopes, in around 30 minutes by car.
