requestsThe history of »Le Manoir« dates back to the seventeenth century. Between 1764 and 1767, a former inn was transformed into the distinguished Baroque residence known as Haus zur Linde. Following various uses over the centuries — including a period as an inn — the building underwent an extensive restoration in the early twentieth century, restoring its status as an elegant country manor. The magnificent park was laid out around 1925 to the designs of the renowned landscape architects, the Mertens brothers. Today, the estate enjoys protected heritage status and has been meticulously maintained.
Inside, historic character and contemporary comfort are combined with exceptional sensitivity. A grand entrance hall with natural stone flooring and a central column provides an elegant introduction to the house. Generous reception rooms, traditional parlours and formal dining rooms featuring fine parquet floors, ornate stucco ceilings and beautifully preserved historic tiled stoves define the principal living areas on the ground and first floors.
