History at Its Finest
Occupying a privileged position in one of Graubünden’s most impressive cultural landscapes, this exceptional castle estate rises above the valley. Set within a historic village and surrounded by mountains, forests and a varied cultivated landscape, the property combines a remarkable sense of history with contemporary living comfort.
The castle has medieval origins and was developed over the centuries into a prestigious residence. Baroque and Régence elements are complemented by high-quality additions from the Historicist period. In 2018, the entire estate underwent a comprehensive and meticulous restoration and refurbishment. Essential technical installations, bathrooms and the kitchen were renewed, while the historic fabric, fine stucco work, parquet floors, wood panelling, doors and fireplaces were carefully preserved and restored.
A distinctive feature is the contemporary stucco ceilings created by renowned artists. They blend naturally into the historic architecture while adding a unique new layer to the castle’s history. The result is a compelling dialogue between centuries-old craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression.
The generous entrance hall immediately conveys the distinctive character of the house. The ground floor comprises elegant living and dining areas, a spacious kitchen and additional functional rooms. A conservatory and direct access to the terrace and garden create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
At the heart of the castle is an exceptional two-storey banqueting hall featuring elaborate historic stucco decoration. It is complemented by several salons, an additional dining room, a library and a study. The various sequences of rooms provide an impressive setting for private living as well as receptions, cultural events, meetings or prestigious business uses.

Historic details and carefully integrated contemporary design elements give the rooms their own distinctive atmosphere.
The estate also includes historic vaulted rooms, a separate outbuilding providing additional living and working space, and several terraced garden levels. Mature trees, fruit trees, planted walls, water features and sheltered seating areas create a variety of garden spaces and reinforce the property’s private character.
