Relaxing peace in Champfèr
The Upper Engadin, one of the highest inhabited valleys in the Alps, enchants with majestic three-thousand-meter peaks, crystal-clear alpine lakes, a unique mountain climate and that magical light that the century painter Giovanni Segantini so impressively staged.
Champfèr (1825 m above sea level) is a quiet neighboring village of St. Moritz yet very close to the trendy hotspots. Since 1954, the restaurant Talvo, the famous après-ski meeting place in a historic Graubünden house, has existed here. In the southwest, the Inn expands to the sparkling water area of Lej da Champfèr, the northern section of Lej da Silvaplauna.
On the outskirts of Champfèr, there is a well-kept apartment building with the 3-room apartment “TESORO”, which was recently renovated to a high standard and — inspired by traditional Engadin rooms — furnished with custom-made pine wood installations. From the property, you can enjoy a unique view of the lake and the towering mountain peaks.

Champfèr is the starting point for numerous alpine activities such as hiking, climbing and paragliding. Neighboring Silvaplana is a center of sailing, windsurfing and kiteboarding sports.
The Julier Pass, already frequented by the Romans, connects the Engadin with the Surses, from where you can quickly travel further into the Rhine Valley. The culturally and climatically different southern side of the Alps is also within easy reach. From Engadin Airport Samedan — the highest airport in Europe — you can quickly reach the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Milan and Munich.

requestsWith “TESORO”, the dream of skiing is fulfilled right outside the front door. The Suvretta mountain railway takes you uphill to the Corviglia winter sports area with 64 kilometers of slopes. If that's not enough, there are an incredible 120 kilometers of slopes available in the neighboring Corvatsch glacier ski area.
From the entrance with pine wood cloakroom and guest toilet, you can already see the magnificent living hall, which is flooded with daylight from the south via a wide window front. There you can relax by the festive fireplace and enjoy the view. The cozy dining area and the practical, high-quality kitchen adjoin right next to it. The convivial get-together can continue at any time on the spacious outdoor terrace — with a view of the garden, the lake and the Engadin mountains.
