Relaxing peace in Champfèr

The Upper Engadin, one of the highest inhabited valleys in the Alps, enchants with majestic three-thousand-meter peaks, crystal-clear alpine lakes, a unique mountain climate and that magical light that the century painter Giovanni Segantini so impressively staged.

Champfèr (1825 m above sea level) is a quiet neighboring village of St. Moritz yet very close to the trendy hotspots. Since 1954, the restaurant Talvo, the famous après-ski meeting place in a historic Graubünden house, has existed here. In the southwest, the Inn expands to the sparkling water area of Lej da Champfèr, the northern section of Lej da Silvaplauna.

From Engadin Airport Samedan — the highest airport in Europe — you can quickly reach the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Milan and Munich.

If that's not enough, there are an incredible 120 kilometers of slopes available in the neighboring Corvatsch glacier ski area.
